A General overview of the Catholic Popes
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Who are these people?
1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
They went out from us
Who did they go out from?
The apostles. The apostles doctrine.
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
John is referring to the apostles.
1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The office of Pope is not mentioned in the bible. The Pope claims to be the visible head of the church. He is a fraud.
Christ is the head of the church. The apostles who were eye witnesses of His Majesty and were the ones who laid the foundation of the church did not claim that they were the head of the church.
They pointed to Jesus as head.
Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
The unbiblical usurper Popes are not eyewitnesses of the resurrected Christ.
They are false apostles.
They Popes have departed from the apostles doctrine and placed themselves in the place of Christ.
The evil Popes have gone so far as to state that it is necessary for the body of Christ to submit to them for salvation.

FURTHERMORE, WE DECLARE, WE PROCLAIM, WE DEFINE THAT IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR SALVATION THAT EVERY HUMAN CREATURE BE SUBJECT TO THE ROMAN PONTIFF.
The Popes claim that the body of Christ must submit to their headship and surrender their intellects to them.
Vatican II
"We believe in the infallibility enjoyed by the Successor of Peter when he speaks ex cathedra as shepherd and teacher of all the faithful, an infallibility which the whole Episcopate also enjoys when it exercises with him the supreme magisterium." (Vol. 2, p. 392)
"This loyal submission of the will and intellect must be given, in a special way, to the authentic teaching authority of the Roman Pontiff, even when he does not speak ex cathedra in such wise, indeed, that his supreme teaching authority be acknowledged with respect, and that one sincerely adhere to decisions made by him, conformably with his manifest mind and intention ...." (Vol. 1, p. 379)
The present Pope encouraged Catholics to call him "Sweet Christ on earth".
Pope John Paul II, in a 1996 Apostolic Exhortation.
"In founders [of the consecrated orders of nuns and priests, etc.] we see a constant and lively sense of the Church, which they manifest by their full participation in all aspects of the Church's life, and in THEIR READY OBEDIENCE TO THE BISHOPS AND ESPECIALLY TO THE ROMAN PONTIFF...
we readily understand the devotion of Saint Francis of Assisi for ‘THE LORD POPE’, the daughterly outspokenness of Saint Catherine of Siena towards the one whom she called ‘SWEET CHRIST ON EARTH’,
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
By placing Himself in the place of the Son the Pope denies the true Son of God and usurps the headship of Christ.
In place of Christ...
"We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."
